At my barn we have a 4 year old warmblood mare named nutmeg. She just arrived this fall and me and a few others including my trainer, have been riding her, always with supervision by my trainer and she hasn’t been doing too well. She isn’t the brightest horse but has a lot of potential, when she’s being ridden she is very stressed out. All her gaits become very fast and she holds her head high in the air, we have jumped her and she does pretty good with that except she gets swervey and likes to duck out just because she is so nervous and stressed.

I was hoping some of you had some tips on what you think would help her! She has a lot of potential and we really want to help her so shell work out! thanks!
