Please judge my rescue mare Skye. These pictures are fairly old but my camera broke and I haven’t been able to get any new pictures or videos. 
I was able to find my Flip video-recorder and got some videos but it was dark so you can’t see anything. I will definitely be getting some videos on Saturday during the day. I have a Hunter Pace this coming Sunday so hopefully I will also be getting some then as well.

I am going to a combined training at the end of the month with my mare Skye and it will be both of ours first time, we’ll be showing in beginner novice. I was wondering what I should and shouldn’t expect? I’m not to worried about cross-country as we do hunter paces so we’ve seen and jumped just about everything. I was more interested in the dressage and show jumping pieces of it. Thank you in advance for any tips!
I got my rescue mare “SkyeBreaker” aka Skye 2 years ago today. We have defiantly been threw a lot! When I got her she had sat in a field for 2 years. She was underweight and got tangled in barbed wire multiple times. She would occasionally be used in a lesson but only to teach kids how to sit bucks, crow hops, rears, and how to handle a high strong horse. I have done almost all of her training! We will be going to our first combined training at the end of the month and will be competing in the Beginner Novice level (2’7). We will most likely be doing Novice by the end of the show season and if it goes better than expected, training level. I couldn’t be more happy with her progress so far and I’m super excited to see whats in our future! Any comments are welcomed!

Please judge my mare Skye and I. We put her in a new bit which is doing wonders when we jump! I also got a new saddle. My stirrups were up for jumping from my last lesson and I forgot to put them back down. Skye was stiff threw her neck and poll in these pictures but we we’re just warming up. She worked out of it quick seeing as she hasn’t been ridden in 2 weeks and it was cold. We have a show tomorrow so any comments are welcomed! Thank you in advance!
I am considering on buying a Pariani Regina Double Leather saddle. I was wondering what everyone thought of that brand/model. I really like it and its SUPER comfy to ride in but Im not sure how it will wear as its calfskin with wool-flocked gussets.

I need to find a bit that I can use for eventing and hunter paces for my mare. She can be very ’fresh’ on the flat and when we are jumping she gets very hot and pulls like crazy to get to the jumps. She has been in a full cheek snaffle, full cheek slow twist, D-ring slow twist, corkscrew, pelham, and is now in a D-ring waterford. When I got her she sat in a field for 2 years and did nothing, I started her in a full cheek snafflle and then the slow twists which she was bad with (took off bolting with any leg pressure), she didn’t like the corkscrew, the pelham worked pretty well for the flat but not for jumping, the waterford worked for 1 ride but not so much any more. My trainer and I are thinking about trying an elevator but I’m not sure if you can use them for eventing….. I know I will have to use atleast 2 different types of bits for Eventing but I would like to find 1 I can use just for everyday schooling. I feel bad having such strong/harsh bits in her mouth! I know its not just me that thinks she is a stong horse because anyone that rides her sais she is a super strong horse and I dont think that it has anything to do with her teeth because I just recently had them checked and they were fine. What should I try?
I am starting Eventing in late April and I was wondering what type / brand of boots you would use for cross country (I have open fronts for show jumping). Most of my barn uses ‘Woof Wear Sport Brushing Boots’ but I was wondering if there is a different brand or a different type of boot (like a splint boot) you would suggest. I am looking for something on the cheaper side. Thank you in advance!
Please judge horse and rider. This was from a lesson on Saturday! On Sunday I went threw with no reins and my eyes closed with the first 2 jump set at 2’6 and the last jump set at a 2’9 oxer. My trainer is having me go higher everytime I ride threw, she had my friend go threw with no reins and her eyes closed with the first 2 jumps set at 3′ and the last jump at a 4′ oxer! We have our first trial/event on April 27th and I was wondering what brand/type of boot would you suggest? I am looking for something on the cheaper side. Sorry for the poor quality.
