So, I got the amazing opportunity to ride with George a couple months ago and I can NOT believe I never posted this! It was a fantastic experience and I learned so much! I was a little nervous so I wasn’t riding my best but I still did well enough to not get called a “soup sandwich”
It was so much fun and he’s actually not as grumpy as everyone makes him out to be, which was a huge relief. Anyways, please judge us. Do excuse Corey’s expression, he was pretty grouchy because he was having to work a little harder than he was used to. Thanks in advance!

Schooling contest!
Schooling Zeke
Hey guys! This is my 6 year old OTTB, Zeke and I doing some flat work. I don’t think I’ve posted a flat photo of him before so I thought I’d post this and see what you thought. I know I really need to close my fingers around the reins, I picked up that habit for about a week but it’s fixed now
Do excuse his boots, my vet wanted me to use them on him for a few weeks. Anyways, please judge. Thanks in advance!
Also, I know we really need to build up his topline. I’m working on it
Bareback contest!
Hey guys! This is my horse Corey and I jumping 3’9″ bareback a couple months ago. I started riding him bareback a little bit to help my seat (I picked up this fun habit of half seating all the time and being a little out when I went back down) and it actually seemed to help so I got to jump him ![]()
Sorry the photo is blurry :-/
Zeke 2’9″
Hey guys! This is my 6 year old green OTTB hunter prospect, Zeke, jumping 2’9″ for the first time! It was also his first day jumping oxers bigger than 2′ and this was an oxer, since you can’t see the rail well. Please excuse my slightly short release. He was drifting a little so I was trying to keep him as straight as possible while still giving him some freedom in the air. I apologize for the crappy quality and me being cut off, my dad forgot I had the zoom lens on my camera. Anyways, please judge Zeke. I’m hoping to have him doing the baby greens this summer so tips for helping him out would be fantastic. Thank in advance!
P.S. I know he’s a bit uneven behind… Grids and a canter pole should help that?
Breast plates?
Hey guys! I need your help for something. I’m buying a new beast plate for my horse and since I haven’t purchased one ever, I need your opinions on brands and such. It needs to be leather and look nice since I’m competing in Equitation. Any in put on brands to look and and things to not buy are great! I have a decent budget so I can go slightly* up in price. Thanks, everyone!
