My horse Ledo just recovered from a suspensory tear that happened in July. We started back to work in April and have to work our way through the levels again : / . This was our first show of the year. I’ve got a forward jump saddle on so my position won’t be the best. Please judge our BN dressage round. (The judge blew the whistle on accident, she apologized when I rode by).

No need to comment on the lower leg and heel, I am aware, so I’m saving your breath : ). Looking for critique more so on my upper body and how Ledo is jumping.
OTTB Ledo at his first recognized show. His behavior was exceptional for the test considering the nervous wreck he was the day before while schooling on the grounds.
I just got new reins so I was not happy with the length I rode with during the test, I like my hands a little more in front than shown here. Of course I did not fix them….that would make life easier! Please judge both of us.
This weekend was Ledo’s first dressage test. We scored a 36.1 and got 8′s on our walk. We missed some of our points and he thought the rails were jumps a few times. I’m in a jump saddle so my position may not be the best. Everybody had really conservative scores for the day, I think the judge thought they were scoring Rolex : P
