judge my quarab & i? :)

So I haven’t ridden in about a month due to inclement weather & working so much to pay off my horse trailer! My friend was messing around taking a few pictures of us since it’d been so long since we’d taken some! Just wanted to know what you guys think. :)

WANTED: 2 horse bp trailer, reasonable pricing. Located in VA or surrounding areas(MD, DC, WV)

I’m looking for a 2 horse bumper pull trailer to move my boys back to where I moved from. I’m located in Bristow, VA & I’m a working student graduating this summer so I’m looking for something reasonably priced. I can do payments, or exchange for work if you need some done as well. I’m willing to travel as far as West VA to come get it, so make offers! Email me at kaykaay@hotmail.com, or feel free to text/call. seven 1 three, 54 two, nine 2 five 5. :) I have a houston number but I do live in NoVa.

looking to lease a horse in the northern VA area? click here!

My farrier got messed over by the foundation he’s in, & he’s looking for someone to lease 1 or 2 of his horses- very sweet, gentle horses. He can’t afford to keep them at the time but he does NOT want to get rid of them, so this is his loss & your gain for awhile. They’re both TB full brother & sister, been ridden in english, some jumping, hunter, trail horses their whole life, really all around horses. He’s looking for a long-term leaser, preferably 1yr, 2 if you really want to. They’re located in Rixeyville, VA which is not far from Culpeper & the all famous Cornerstone Ranch owned by Charles Pellham. :) PLEASE someone lease these guys! They’re extremely sweet, asking for less than $200 a month for them unless you board somewhere which is a great deal.

twisted or square snaffle?

My gelding’s been leaning on the bit & I’m starting him on barrels right after his boots arrive in the mail, so he needs to stop it! I was told by a highly respected trainer that a square or twisted snaffle will do, but which one is going to do the job better? I’ve only used a smooth snaffle on EVERY horse I’ve ridden so I don’t want to get the wrong kind of bit & make him & I both unhappy. He’s a cutie, but his butt swings out WAY too far when I have him turn sometimes because he wants to go the other way & he kind of bends himself in towards where I want to go because his body is trying to move the opposite way but it’s not happening LOL.

good saddle pad for reining?

I’m looking for a good saddle pad with good support for my upcoming 2yr old stallion, I’m probably going to break him & have him sent off for training for reining & western pleasure so I need to find a good saddle pad that supports his withers but also keeps the saddle on his back at the same time.

TONS of horses for sale in the central TX area, comment if you’re interested! Can be transported to you for a small fee covering gas. Cheaper than transportation companies!!

The lady that owns the ranch I used to board at has a handful of horses she needs to get rid of, they need homes that have time for them & plenty of land to run on & graze. She has anything from a yearling to a broodmare or even a good project horse if you’re looking for one to occupy your time. Most are broke to ride, some are not. Some haven’t been messed with, some have. Just comment & let me know what you’re looking for!! I’ll send pictures upon request, can’t put them all up on this post. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE THEM A GOOD HOME! :)

Anyone in the central TX area & looking for project horses to buy or ride!!

I used to keep my horses at this ranch in Texas before I moved, she has tons of horses that need to be worked with & sold. I’ve downsized the herd quite a bit in the past year, but there’s still some that need homes. Since I’m not there anymore, no one is riding them or working with them to make them fit to sell. They’re extremely sweet, promising horses & the ones that aren’t for sale you’re more than welcome to ride upon the land owner’s monitoring of your riding experience beforehand. I used to work with ALL of them, they just need some tuning up/tweaking. Great for someone who’s looking for more hands on experience with more than just one horse for free, you will not be charged for riding any of the horses out there, only boarding or buying! PLEASE SOMEONE GO HELP! It’s tons of fun & it’s a good way to pass time. If you or anyone you know is interested in doing this, or even buying a horse from here please comment! I have horses of all shapes & sizes that need homes, pictures upon request. Thank you!! :)

Delta Promise yearling grandson, how does he look!? good confirmation or no?

So I’ve gotten more pictures up! Romeo is now registered & these are 3 of the 7 I sent in. Please take note that his neck is bent towards the camera so it might look a little shorter than it is, the ground is pretty level so hopefully he will be able to be judged more accurately & accordingly. :) Also, the first picture his hindquarters are a little farther from me than his shoulders so it makes him look a little shorter bodied than he is. Flies were getting the best of him so I had to snap some shots & spray him. He’s got the gait to be any kind of pleasure/show horse, but he’s still a growing baby so he doesn’t have a lifelong career just yet! Very well mannered little boy, he gets along with everyone & everything. He is now a year, 5 months & 5 days old as of today. So he’s getting big! The last picture is just showing how his neck really is when his head is lowered. he’s got a pretty low headset when i work him & he kind of collects by himself, i don’t exercise him daily.

Whiz Doc mare, roughly 15.3hh & looking for a job with her next rider!

What would she be a good prospect for? Her owner took her to a Clinton Anderson clinic to be broke because the trainers she found simply could not keep this horse from being skittish. She’s gotten tons better now, just no bareback riding. About 8yrs old tops, AQHA registered Lil Betsys Doll out of Whiz Doc & Hanks Lil Betsy. She’s a BIG girl, standing next to a 6ft round pen panel. I take her on trails & she does wonderful but this girl needs a job! I’m not going to be the one riding her so I’m just posting another one for fun. :)

What would Sir be good in? Just to see if anyone has similar ideas to mine for him. :)

This is Sir, my 5yr old Quarab. I haven’t really done anything with him besides lessons & trail, I’m thinking about doing barrels with him but I feel like he might go good in the dressage or western pleasure ring. His dam was a show horse & his sire was a tall, slender built QH with a glass-smooth gait, he would’ve been entered into pleasure classes had we not had to unexpectedly put him down due to illness.  Any ideas or opinions on this? :)
