AQHA mare jumping at Pony Club Events PLEASE JUDGE
So this is me and my mare Miss Tequila Brooke she is a AQHA eventing mare. I am a D2 going for my D3 rating, i am from Silver Bits pony club, i have been jumping 2’6″ and some of these pictures are old (been in Pony Club for a year). i jumped 2’3″ with no hands, no irons, and eyes closed at camp! I know i dont have my heels down in most of these pictures because, i was trying to break in tall boots and they were stiff. My mare has nevicular and i got permission from my vet to jump her. This is her last year jumping her and she will become my moms dressage/trail horse. This mare has done 2’6″ jumping, and about training level dressage. she only has been ridden English for a year and a half, she was a western horse. I have ridden English for about a year and a half and the highest i jumped was 3′ playing Chase Me Charlie (riding my friends horse Al) and my friend thinks (shes a C1-C2) i should do my C1 after i do my D3, because i did so well over the 3′. What do you guys think?
me jumping my aqha mare 2’6″ at pony club camp
PLEASE JUDGE
This is me and Miss Tequila Brooke, jumping 2’6″ at my Pony Club camp. This is the highest I jumped because of her nevicular, and this is the highest she ever jumped because i taught her. In this jump it was a bounce jump. My position is “okay” because my heels were barely down, and my hands were wide to keep her moving forward, i had a big release to give her her mouth. (And yes I always have a weird look on my face when I’m jumping) The other jumps she jumps she over jumps them, but in this one she is fine. She is also a showmanship Queen, and before i got her she was a western show horse, and i transformed her into a eventing horse. She got me to my D2 in Pony Club, and I’m going for my D3 this fall. I only have been riding for a year-ish. And next year I am going to ride my moms Apendix Paint gelding Toby just for flat, he is 4 and can do flying lead changes, and lateral work.
THANK YOU
