Sasha and Zurocco’s first show

Here is a picture of Sasha and Zurocco yesterdayl at Wellington in the Low Children’s. First show together and Zuroccos first show here in the US. He behaved fantastic and couldn’t ask for a better horse for my son. Sasha has been working on his upper body a lot so he breaks over better and is not just standing on his toes straight in his saddle. Anybody can judge please. Had a great day at the show and this is really the only way I want to spend my Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day to all the show Mom’s out there.

Sasha and Zurocco

Carol here is your “action” shot of Sasha and his new big guy. They still have to work a lot to come together but they seem to get along very well. My sons boot is wrapped because for some reason it rubbed on Zurooco’s side and now he has a raw spot there so we are trying to get it healed. Even though he’s over 18 hh he moves very lightly and enjoys jumping. Everyone can comment please. Thank you.

Sasha and Zirocco second week together

Here is one of the first videos of Sasha and his new horse. Only jumped him a few times and today they were practicing turns which he despite his huge size has no problems with. Sasha still has to get use to his size which still intimidates him a little bit. All they can do is trying to figure each other out. But Carol it will give you an idea how he moves. Any comments are appreciated. Not to forget he’s a bit over 18 hh. Rob maybe you too remember Sasha and his Pinto mare Shelby. Well he got too big for her and this is his new horse. 9 year old Hanovarian just imported out of Zeus line.

Conformation please

This one is for Carol and for everyone else who wants to comment. Don’t know if you remember my son Sasha and his Pinto mare Shelby. Unfortunately he outgrew her in size (he’s almost 6 feet now and she was only 16.2 and made her look like a pony). So we just got him this guy. He’s an imported Hannovarian and just got here so we haven’t showed him yet. He’s a little bit over 18 hh (the second picture just to see how huge he is with my almost 6 feet son next to him lol)  and even though he’s huge he moves very light. Could you please let me know what you think of his conformation? The only thing I noticed that he has very very short cannon bones for his size. We will use him as a jumper. Thank you so much. I hope we stand him up the right way.

Wellington last weekend

Here is another picture of Sasha and Shelby warming up for the Childrens (3’6″) class. First time for them at this height but they both felt comfortable. Just a few things my son has to work on. He tends to jump up her neck before the jump and throws her off balance, She’s trying hard to compensate for that. Shelby is such a good girl. We got her as a hunter but thought the jumpers is a better place for her and she seems to love. Please critique horse and rider and she’s for sale. Not sure how high the oxer is but she still has some room to spare. Thank you.

Wellington International Ring this weekend

Here another picture of Sasha and Shelby in Wellington this weekend. They moved up into the Childrens division and so far doing well. I know his release could be more. We had the hurricane going and it was very windy and things were flapping and it rained. She’s a 2000 Dutch Warmblood Art Deco line 16.2 hh and for sale.Last weekend they did their first Dressage Show and did very well too. Got a 68% and 73% and won both classes. She can do it all. Please any comments regarding horse and rider are appreciated.

Another one from first Dressage Show

Here is another picture of Sasha and Shelby from the same show. Sorry but as I said before we didn’t had really time to practice and he rode in his jumping saddle. So any input/help is greatly appreciated. This was his 20 m circle I believe. Actually both had fun doing this and consider going again next month. Yes he’s working on his hands. Thank you so much.

First Dressage Show

Usually you find Sasha (Rider) and Shelby in the Jumper Ring but we like to mix things up and this weekend they both went to their first Dressage Show. To make it easy and to start with they only did the Intro test and scored a 73 and won the class (yes I know she sticks her tongue out). Shelby was also a little bit confused and kept looking over to the jumper ring which was right next to her. Just want to hear your input on horse and rider. My son and Shelby really didn’t practiced too much for it because it was sort of a last minute decisions to do this.

Sasha (Rider) and Shelby in International Ring Wellington

This is from last weekend in the Low Childrens. Yeah his legs slipped again but he’s working on it. Shelby loves her job as you can see on her face. Always having her ears in the front. Please anybody can judge horse and rider. Thanks everybody. She’s also for sale. 2000 Dutch Warmblood Pinto. Art Deco line.
