Critique my 15 year old ArabXFriesian

This is Imperious. He is a 15 year old, 15.3 hand ArabXFriesian out of the stallion Nero. Up until age 10 he was ridden 2-3 times a year walk/trot on trails. He then was sold, “rebroke”, and I bought him as a still green 11 year old.

Imp currently is schooling 3rd level dressage and already has shown the ability to piaffe. He also enjoys some small jumping, and bareback riding.

This picture is a few months old, since then he has lost the bit of crest (due to the green grass) that is seen in the picture above.

Please let me know what you think!

  1. What a lovely horse! The Arab half has lightened and refined the Fresian half. Great cross! He has nice short cannons and good bone. His withers are well defined and well laid back. His shoulder is nice. His neck ties onto the shoulder well and is slightly thick on the underside (Fresian). His crest is nice. His top line is smooth. His hind leg is correct.
