This is me and my hanoverian/TB mare, Gatlin schooling xc today. The fence is training level. Please judge horse and rider, I know my heel came up, it doesn’t usually so I’m not sure what happened there. but let me know about anything else

Gatlin is demonstrating PERFECT jumping technique over these logs. His knees are way up, and his front legs are folded super tightly. I really like your body position & release, over what is essentially, just a “normal fence”. However, I can see you reaching down with your toes to hang on to your irons….shorten your stirrups, and save this length for the dressage arena.
