This is a photo of me riding Grace in an equitation flat class at a local show. I won the class but I know I can improve, so any critiques of me or Grace would be appreciated. (Also I realize my eyes were closed, the camera caught me just as I was blinking. I normally ride with my eyes open!
Bend your elbows and carry your hands above and in front of the withers. You appear to be tipped slightly to the inside with your left shoulder a bit forward. Keep your body inclined forward, but with shoulders square with your horse’s shoulders and your back flat. CONGRATULATIONS!
