These are pictures of Mulligan and I competing the Culpeper Children’s Hunter and the Pre Child/Adult Hunter at HITS Culpeper in July. We ended up getting 2nd and two 3rds in the Pre Child/Adult Hunter out of 20 and 1st, 3rd, and 7th in the Culpeper Children’s Hunter out of 30! We also showed in the Maiden Eq division but didn’t pin in the class of 23. Please judge my eq. Thanks!
Mulligan is a wonderful jumper…no wonder he did so well in the hunters…..maybe we better take a closer look at YOU, and see what happened in those eq classes.
In both photos, you are a little “behind the motion” as your body either didn’t come down close enough to his neck, or you became seperated from him in mid air. Looks to me, like you need to start your body moving forward a little sooner over the fences.
That’s funny you say that, because I used to have a huge problem of getting way too ahead of the motion. Thanks for your help!
