Hey Morgan, I will see you in KY in November! First jump he sucked back a bit and you covered it well. Second jump is good. On 3, not sure because I am viewing it directly from behind, but it appears you had to press pretty hard off the ground. Over 4, you shift slightly to the side in the air, but land well. Then you had to really chase him to 5 and ended up dropping back to the cantle on the landing side and opening your body up too quickly. 6 works out ok. I can’t see 7 and 8ab very well. You have to go past the judge’s stand to get to the oxer sitting in the middle of the ring. You went steadier and steadier all the way to that instead of maintaining your forward pace. The rest of the course looks good.
Overall, your base of support and body control is very good. I like your hands, pace and communication with Lexington. Remember to establish pace early on so you have plenty to work with and don’t have to suddenly create more energy.

I watched your round…..TWICE! You are definitly improving. I think that in the beginning of your round, Lexington wasn’t completly off your leg, so that when you asked him to move up first with your legs, you didn’t get the exact response you wanted, so then you went to your body..then your elbows & arms! There was a lot to like about your round. But, mostly….you are getting better.
