Posting guidelines friendly reminder :)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you all know again how much we love getting your videos and photos and hearing about all of you and the horses and ponies you love! Keep them coming! As many of you know we have contests going on here at Judgemyride any week you check in! You could be SmartPak photo of the week, and be in the running for SmartPak photo of the month, where the winner has a special prize chosen just for them by SmartPak from their vast selection!

We give away a beautiful Samshield helmet every month too! There’s always something going on at JudgeMyRide so check back often!

Anyway when you post your videos and photos please remember these basic guidelines:

If it is a Schooling photo or video- post it in the Schooling ring only. We ask that you do not post to more than 2 or 3 rings at the most. The Hunter/Eq Ring, the Pony Ring, Jumper Ring and Eventing Rings are for show videos and photos only.

When in doubt- is it schooling? post it in the schooling ring. The judges check all the rings and if we have to move it to the proper ring, sometimes posts get lost, so best to put them in the right place to begin with.

For you conformation photos_ please be respectful to the knowledge that you are showing the horse to a USEF large “R” Judge. so saddle makrs, sweaty horse, mud stained etc., are not ideal to share. No tack on the horse whatsoever (other than a halter) or the judge can’t see enough to comment. stand the horse with its hind legs slightly apart and not at an angle from the camera. Meaning keep his front and hind end even and parallel to the camera for a proportioned full on side view. The more well turned out your horse is, the better impression it makes on the judge and a nod of respect the judge, animal and horsemanship.

thanks everyone,

Noelle King
