Evergreen Classic 2011 (**)

August 2011 Evergreen Classic.
My Mom cut my head off in the photo, sorry!
I worked over the winter (last winter) on my automatic release so it has improved a lot since this photo was taken.
Let me know what you think!

I used to love that show & grand prix. Of coure, I love that whole area of Washington.
You are using a crest release, and using it quite correctly. That is the release I always used, and taught. It gives the rider an extra point of support for their body. Your leg & heel are posatively wonderful. Your upper body is a little seperated from your arms & his neck. Don’t be afraid to get down closer to his neck….after all….it’s jumpers. He’s not as tightly folded as I would like. His knees are OK, but beneath his knees, he just kind of left his lower legs “dangling”. Nothing dangerous about that….just once in a while it might cost you a rail. Besides, I think the photo might have been taken a second late.
