Please judge me and my mare doing a 3’3″ course on SLIPPERY grass! She was a superstar!
Thanks!

I actually like schooling on slightly up & downhill fields….it really helps with a horse’s balance.
You really nailed that first fence, but it looked like you got long & left on the 2nd fence. When you came back around and jumped the oxer next to #1, (Looked just like #1) you were too long. Learn to ride your horse more to the base of the oxers. Your mare has plenty of “jump” and is quite agile…she doesn’t need those “gappy” distnaces…..especially to the oxers. She’s a good jumper….a very good jumper with plenty of ability.
Way more harmonious than the last course I saw on JMR. That looked quite awesome.
You have such a good mare!
Rob- thanks so much!
I tend to have a long eye, so I need to try to get her closer than I think I should to the base of the jumps. My own fault.
Val, isn’t it amazing the difference when I actually ride!
LOVE THIS MARE! lol
