Phantom and I at our first registered show in the weekend. My instructor took this photo, so I only just got it. I know my leg has slipped back a bit.

I love the “flying hair”….pretty common in Europe, but not so much here in the US….girls all tuck their hair in….I say….”let it fly”!
You gave Phantom plenty of release, and that is important. Also important, is that your leg didn’t “slide” back, it “rolled” back, which turned your toes straight out, which turned your heels straight into his ribs! Gotta be careful, that you don’t accidentally dig your heels/spurs into him when you don’t really mean to. I also wanted you to notice the position of your saddle. Looks like it slipped back to me.
