Prize’s Second Show!

This is a picture of my 5 year old jumper prospect at her second show ever this weekend. The fences were set at 3′ in this class. If you could judge both of us I would really appreciate it, but I am mainly interested in having my landing position judged (I’m hoping to start doing the equitation soon, so an eq critique would be awesome!). I noticed in all of my pictures where I am initiating a turn that I drop my hand when using an opening rein. Any tips on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Yes it was! Were you there? I actually meant to message you to ask you if you were going, butgetting ready for shows can be crazy!

No I didn’t make it out this weekend. I was home enjoying some awesome rides on my horse and one of my trainer’s horses. Maybe next time!

  4. She looks great! How did you guys do? No idea about the hand.. I used to do that really bad but Rob yelling at me during the clinic got it :P

Try to focus on keeping your inside shoulder up and square when you’re going to turn. That really helped me with dropping my opening rein hand. Hope it helps you!
