This above picture was taken when I basically had just started with my current trainer. Before her, I had only been jumping inconsistently (once every month or so) for a year.
This picture was taken about 2 months ago. So I had been with my trainer for a year and a few months at this time.
Needless to say, I have improved greatly, but I know I still have a lot of work to do!! I’m so grateful that I found my current trainer. I have felt like I’ve learned SO much and I am much more confident in my everyday riding.

Alright! In the first picture, you jumped ahead of him.
Because you are really just standing up in the stirrups, your leg has slipped back. However, since this is and old picture that all doesn’t matter.
In the second picture, you’ve gotten a lot better! Good job! Try to turn your toes in, and you could actually get out of the saddle just a tad more so that it doesn’t look like you’re almost sitting down.
You’ve gotten a lot better! (:
Whoa! Get back in your saddle! Your body is WAY too far forward & out in front of your saddle. Try to keep your hips over the middle of the saddle. Ohhhhh, now I see the 2nd photo….MUCH BETTER! Even your horse is jumping better in that 2nd photo. In the lower photo….as much better as you are…..try to drop your forearms down onto his neck.
Thank you both! will work on everything you all said!
I appreciate it!!
