This is Tango, 11 years old, been jumping for about a year and a half. Please judge horse and not rider, because I realize my postition is not stellar. Thanks!

Your little paint has his knees up GREAT! He looks like a terrific little jumper. I can’t help myself….I just have to comment on YOU TOO! Your leg & heel are wonderful. I have only 1 suggestion…but it’s a big one….you need a longer release. You have to try to reach your hands forward to about the middle of your horse’s neck at the top of EACH FENCE There…that wasn’t so bad, was it?
That wasn’t too bad!
Thanks again!
I knew I needed a bigger release in this picture, which is the main reason I put the horse only part. I think it was because I was working on slowing down my upper body and I stopped all motion with my upper body, including my hands. I recently worked on that with my trainer and have lengthened my release while having an upper body that isn’t too fast. THANK YOU for your comment on my leg! And about Tango! I think she’s a great little jumper and she just recently has lost most of her fear of jumping, which is why we’re able to jump a little higher now
