I know this picture doesn’t have great quality but we are at our first show which was last week at the North Hampton Hunter/Jumper show. Please critique both of us! Benjamin is 19 so I would say he is doing very well! This was a 2’6″ course that we won! (:

I’ve course designed there before. Only a couple of minor suggestions for you. Looks like you were trying to stand up in your irons, as your heels were UP. I think you could have a more fluid look over the fences, if you reached your hands forward a little further and a little sooner.
Wow I haven’t seen Ben in years – I used to show with the Wood’s when they owned Trident. He looks great! Have fun with him – he is a superstar!
Congrats on your win! I have a few improvements for you though. Your heels are up and your hands are not far forward enough. Try to release more over the fences. Also your back had a little arch in it.so when you are jumping over when you have your hands farther forward then it will be easier to have your back straight. Think ‘back straight’ over your fences and it will help it look better! Great job!
