Cheeky and I jump the 4′ wall!

Feel free to crit ~

So two days ago (Sat. the 29th) I had THE BEST lesson ever on my horse. After one of our courses we made a tight left turn from an oxer to a solid wall with a rolltop at the bottom and foliage on the top and sides (picture below), measuring out to 4’6″, our highest yet!! I also got to meet Kyle King this weekend (his dad is my trainer); super nice guy! :) In the video he’s the guy that walks across the arena wearing blue. :)  I am learning so much more with my new trainer and I feel like such a better rider as well!! Thanks guys!

So happy you found the right horse for you. He sure is back into fitness and seems to have tons of energy! Congrats again on progressing so fast with your new partner. :-)

I know Scott & kyle well. They are both very good “horsemen”. Looks like things are working out well for you. Where is this? I used to live just a couple of miles from Scott, but I think he might be getting divorced, and I think he moved.

  3. Hey Rob! Thanks :-) Im having a great time.
This is at a barn called Royal Ridge Training Center in Monroe, WA.

I live in Calgary, AB and we see Kyle King lots at the Spruce Meadows Summer Series and Rocky Mountain Showjumping. Nice guy, he’s got amazing horses!
You’re pretty luck you get to train with his dad.

Good job! Cheeky is such a good boy and he’s going to take you far. Are you going to be showing soon?!

  5. So cool! Yeah, Im really excited for show season to come atound again because I started with him later into the season and could only get in a small schooling show — my horse has little show experience so we ate working on the mileage. :-)

great ride and video Lyndsay! Love how polished and beautifully turned out you are as well. Keep the videos coming :)

Your photo was moved into the schooling ring because it is not a show photo.
