You fell WAAAY behind here from the looks of it. I agree with TitanandTobster. Do smaller grid work before attempting to jump this height again, sink your heel more, and please do put some proper gear on… a pair of jeans with half chaps would even suffice
You got left behind alot, I agree with everyone else, go back to some smaller jumps and learn a better position before trying this height again, its for the good of you and the horse, good position is not just about good looks its safe for both of you it can be dangerous to get left behind for many reasons and when this happens you can also make more mistakes
so try smaller grid work before doing this again
I see nothing wrong with riding in shorts. That isn’t the problem here. The problem is that both the rider and the pony are not ready for this height. We were just having some fun. They have been schooling 2′-2’3″ regularly.
Like I have said 100 times, it is not possible to keep a secure leg when riding in shorts
