This was from my lesson yesterday on Jack aka Jack Be Nimble… he’s not the greatest jumper in the world form-wise but he tries his little heart out… please critique my equitation (and I apologize in advance for my awkward wrists… I try not to ride with “broken wrists”… plus my release could be a hair bigger and my distance a bit deeper). I think I’ve gotten a bit better about turning out the soles of my boots, and my toes aren’t sticking out as far in my pictures/film from this lesson! Any and all critique is welcomed. Thanks!

i really like your position. as you already statedyou have “puppydog” wrists slightly here, and also always try to keep a close hand on the rein, your release could comeforward abit, but its not bad really.
your horse took off on one foot so he couldnt get his front legs up and even, (did he hit the jump or is the rail normally like that? it looks like he hit it. so some gymnastics would help him get his knees up and help him get to the base of the jump aswell!
but you guys look great!
