The photos are just fine. The 1st one, you looked insecure, as you just set your hands straight down on top of his withers. Probably to help support your body. A much better release in photo #2. Your stirrups might be a hole too long.

Thanks! And yeah, I think in the first photo we had a pretty bad approach. If I remember correctly we were going a little too fast and she was trying to “bulge” super far to the left so I was a little unstable for that fence. :\
