Soooooo with the “issues” I had at the clinic this past weekend I couldn’t take any of MY horses to the show and had two choices left. Stripe.. who is just really slow and really awkward to turn, or Samson who is just REALLY green.. I went with green
Surprisingly, he has been the most level headed out of the 8 horses we took. Haha! What do you think? I know my back is rounded and I didn’t fully release with one arm, but other than that please judge! Thanks in advance!

Casey this guy is gorgeous!
this horse is amazing and so beautiful.
He really knows how to use himself over the fence! I’m willing to bet that the jump is a fair distance below you both in this pic, considering the way he’s peering down at it and you’ve got one hand on his neck for balance
And fair enough too! Better that than getting left behind or being jumped out of the saddle…I know what that’s like! Your lower leg looks really strong, you’re a bit too far out of the saddle but jumping green horses means being prepared for anything and you’re very well balanced, good work!
Casey I moved this to the schooling ring, since you are turned out for schooling in this photo. thanks <3 Noelle
He is impressed by the jump but has a very kind expression and not a frightened one. You are a strong rider and are very solid. You have kind, soft hands and I love that he is in a rubber snaffle. I would only suggest that you keep your eyes up and looking ahead. This will help to keep your shoulders up and your back straighter. It will also keep your seat more in the middle of the saddle and stop your tendency to get ahead off the ground. Nice job and I think this horse will be very nice with miles.
Thanks! @ Noelle ooohh ok. I thought maybe my computer was glitching haha. Alright
thanks!
Thank you so much Sharon! He really is an awesome horse, he just needs a lot more experience
