FOR FULL ON FARM LEASE: Sophie is a 15.3-16h 12 year old OTTB mare. She is very well trained through 1st level dressage, into 2nd level, and knows a number of higher level movements. She has her moments, but overall rarely takes a wrong step. She is not for a beginner because she is pleasantly sensitive and she looks to the rider for guidance and confidence. She has experience jumping, eventing, and doing hunter paces. I am just beginning to get her back in jumping shape. She is super fun to ride, and always tries her hardest! She also has a lot of knowledge and is a great teacher for the right rider. She can trot around on a relaxed rein and shows great potential as a hunter. Her trot is to die for and she has a beautiful extension!

She is super pretty! These pictures really don’t do her justice at all! She’s not as skinny as she looks in the first one, and not as homely looking in person as she looks in the other pictures!
She has the most amazing work ethic I have ever encountered with a horse, and she’s super intelligent!
We worked on flying changes last night, and then popped over a crossrail a few times. She knows her stuff.
If you ask her half-way, she gives you the movement half-way. If you ask her totally correctly, she gives it to you perfectly! She’s good at figuring out what you’re asking of her, even if you don’t totally know.
