Just thought I’d share, on the eve of our very first BN event tomorrow. We did a starter event last summer, which turned out decently, but I was having tons of problems stemming from a complete cluelessness and lack of confidence about how to ride XC. Cue tons of JMR and YouTube watching over the winter (I don’t have a H/J or XC instructor, so you guys and YouTube have been my trainers, pretty much), and lots of work on my position and confidence building for Pala. So I thought I’d post videos of our very first XC outing 1 1/2 years ago and our pre-event schooling this morning.
Warning: the first video is pretty painful to watch. TONS of stupidity on my part. Pala had more patience than a saint.
